Technical Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our expanding team to focus on writing business requirements and creating technical specifications for our cutting-edge, highly visual distributed marketing portal, dmEDGE. We are an eight year old company with a bright, technology-driven team. Our product is a market-defining product used by many of the Fortune 500 and has gained recognition from the leading analyst firms.

We are a growing, privately funded and profitable business founded by well-known experts in the database marketing and software technology industries. Our clients are large, prestigious organizations across many industries. Direxxis is located in Needham, MA at the intersection of Highland Ave. and Route 128.


Job Description:

  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to define and
    document business requirements
  • Lead client requirements meetings
  • Provide consulting to clients regarding dmEDGE capabilities
  • Design, create and maintain process flows
  • Review requirements with clients and obtain sign-off
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting using SQL
  • Provide auditing and statistics on sample data delivered by client
    via SQL queries
  • Design, create and maintain data input and output specifications
  • Ability to conduct design review meetings with system architects to discuss and document technical approaches
  • Work with product implementation team to define priorities
  • Some travel required

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Development/programing background preferred
  • Solid experience with relational database design.
  • Ability to create and execute SQL queries using MS SQL Server
  • Be enthusiastic and well-spoken
  • Must possess strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Experience in the marketing industry a plus
